Spotlight magazine is now distributed and sold right across the Blackpool Fylde and Wyre area to newsagents and newsellers. Promotional copies are distributed to local businesses, salons, hotels, doctors’ surgeries, hairdressers and waiting areas. Also to tourist boards throughout the North of England and Scotland. Print runs are 4,000 copies per issue a total of 16,000 copies per annum.

We have raised over £12,000 for North West Cancer Research Fund (N.W.C.R.F.) to date.

The magazine spotlights local businesses related to the entertainment, leisure, and lifestyle industries which include nightlife and tourism, food and drink, health and beauty, and fashion and retail to name but a few.
Also, the magazine will profile those that live, work, and play within these industries such as bar staff, waiters/waitresses, managers, entertainers, party people, clubbers, and even tourists.
Other content in the magazine will include: News, reviews, interviews, events, money-off vouchers, guides, directories, horoscopes, puzzles, jokes and much more…including our NEW Spotlight Loyalty Card Scheme, which will enable our readers to save money on local businesses.


Distribution

4000 magazines will be continuously distributed on a quarterly basis throughout Blackpool and The Fylde, targeting all age groups that live, work and play in the resort.

The magazine is available to the public in return for a small charity donation at:

• Independent newsagents across the Fylde
• Tourist boards across the UK
• Pubs, bars, and nightclubs across the North West
• Waiting areas in salons, take-away’s, restaurants, and surgeries etc.
• On-street sales volunteer’s with charity licence


Promotion

The magazine is promoted the following different ways:

• Local press (The Gazette and The Reporter etc)
• Local radio (Radio Wave)
• Public transport (Bus, Tram, and Taxi advertising)
• Our own charity events @ various bars, pubs, nightclubs, and leisure centres etc.
